The main objective of this Workshop is to improve the employability of students by
Presenting an overview of transferable skills required for a scientific career in the field of biomedical imaging
identifying support functions related to the imaging field
strengthening interactions between academia and industry
helping students with career planning and professional integration
At the end of the WS, students should be able
to communicate in a multidisciplinary field
to know the importance of technology transfer and industrial partnerships
to identify the funding opportunities in imaging and understand the project management stakes
to understand the organization and mission of imaging core-facilities
to identify the specific characteristics of biomedical imaging (radiation protection, translational research… )
Public
Master students, engineer students, PhD students and young researchers in Imaging are invited to take part in this workshop.
Representatives from master courses, doctoral schools as well as EMIDS and FLI partners are also warmly invited to attend the workshop.
Registration fee : 50€ 1 ECTS can be given to participants. The workshop will be held mostly in English.
This workshop is associated with the kick-off meeting of the FINYS network on October 9, 2015. FINYS is the French Imaging Network of Young Scientists and gathers students and young imaging scientists in France. More information on the website :
